Rusty menziesia, with the scientific name rhododendron menziesii, is a species of flowering plant in the ericaceae family.

This plant, also classified as menziesia ferruginea, is also known as false huckleberry, fool's huckleberry, and mock azalea.

Rusty menziesia is an upright or spreading shrub, often exceeding three meters in height.

The leaves are hairy, have a glandular and sticky texture, and when crushed have an unpleasant skunk-like odor.

This shrub is native to northwestern North America.
