Snowflake Aralia with the scientific name trevesia palmata is a deciduous plant of the genus trevesia in the araliaceae family.
It is a small tree, only five to six meters tall. However, its leaves are large, leathery, and shaped like snowflakes.
The flakes are lance-shaped to oblong, with pointed ends, serrated or intricately divided at the edges, and fully divided in the young leaves.
The leaf surface is shiny and divided 7 to 10 cm deep and about 60 cm wide.
Its place of origin is from northern India to southwestern China.
