The tree houseleek, whose scientific name is aeonium arboreum, is a succulent subtropical shrub in the flowering plant family crassulaceae.

Also called tree aeonium or Irish rose, it grows as a low-branched shrub up to 2 meters tall.

The leaves are flattened rosettes with a stem tip diameter of 10 to 25 cm.

The leaf blade is ovate to lanceolate with a pointed tip and a wedge-shaped base.
