- Recognize what kind of lane your bot composition is. Is it a sustain lane? a poke comp or a kill lane?
examples of the 3 would be:
sustain - vayne soraka
poke - caitlyn lulu
kill - draven leona
Play according to the composition and ONLY play differently if an opportunity shows up. (ie, you outpoke a poke lane because the enemy team is performing badly)
- Look at the teams and recognize the win conditions, is your team weaker than the enemies in early game but has a stronger mid to late game? then your goal is to farm up and play safely until then.
- Positioning is key in teamfights. Do not get caught, do not overextend. Don't open yourself up to being dived on just so that you can hit a primary target (dps), aim for the closest high priority target without opening yourself up.
It's just simply not worth getting yourself killed to get rid of the enemy adc if you're equal or ahead, leave diving their back line to tankier champs on your team.
