At first they trained us and conduct actual site visit interview one of the barangay who are the victims of TYPHOON YOLANDA . They teach us how to approach specially ask questions in a nice way or manner . How we interview or ask questions to children that they will not be afraid.
And specially what we will be doing first before the survey. We should have to conduct courtesy call to the barangay captain to ask permission about our activity for our security purpose also.
We also assigned to conduct interview and site visit to schools to the head teachers of what are the problems they encounter as well as the children/students in the said schools.
The result of our surveys will serve as basis of UNICEF and Save the Children to help people specially school.
The experience and learning is not wasted it will always be used and applied in my daily routine specially in building rapport to people even if it is the first time you meet them. I learn also that TRUST is the most important thing to express every person sharing his/her personal point of view.
