For everything we do, we need to strive to get efficiency and effectiveness. The former means how much we get out of how much we put; the latter to be how much are we closer to the right direction. Studying is no exception. As it is the core activity that enhances the value of each individual, we need to consider how we are doing in terms of those two key virtues. So what? Just tell me how? From now on, according to constant effort of lifelong learning inside and outside of the classroom, I am going to reveal some of the fundamental principles that are extremely worthwhile to carry with you.
Plan ahead but adjust frequently
The direction is very important. Also, you need to split the tasks and put it into your calendar. You cannot always be stringent of your plan but you can have a general idea of when is the deadline and how you adjust your pace.Spread the targets across several days
This is divide-and-conquer. You cannot beat a big boss at first attempt. You'd rather need to split the goal and spread each task every day. That is because your brain cannot digest a lot of information in a day. It needs time to consume it and save it to neuron, and then connect the relevant neuron to form a powerful and effective web of neurons.Within the day, plan the difficulty level like a hump
At first, in the morning, you cannot delve into such a hardest thing. Every machine needs time to boot and preheat before its major operation. If not, it will break or consume energy inefficiently. So, at the start of each day, set easier things first. Then you could begin work on one of the hardest things you have on your task board of the day. You try this goal at a different angle, take a rest, and take it again, but you feel you cannot maintain this level of brainwork. Then you lower the level and then you go to sleep.
