Quitting steemit

in leaving •  7 years ago

Just letting you all know that I have decided to give up on this platform.
It disheartens me too much to pour my heart out into a post, for sometimes an hour or 2
only to get 20c for it.

Have met a lot of cool people on here. don't get me wrong. u guys are awesome.
Especially the guys and gals over at https://discord.gg/6jSxkkK

anyways, wishing you all the best.
keep Steeming.

It takes a lot of work to network and grow on the platform, it's a full time job for sure. Hopefully we'll still see you around, you a cool pony bro. :)

ill probably keep talking on discord. love u guys on there, but it depresses me too much to pour my heart out for pittance.

Don't goooooo

i have to. cant afford to stay. not making enough to even cover my internet costs

:'(

Hey buddy, don't give up if you don't have to do so. I'll try to pay more attention and show you the love. You have some good stuff going.

i try. as i was saying to a friend on discord today, maybe i need to do a no holds barred post. let u guys know the ammount of struggle i have faced, and still manage to be a half decent person.

Honesty and heartfelt posts I believe will always help.

i think the problem is i dont fit a certain criteria. good spelling. grammar, etc.

I think emotion and integrity and honesty are more important than the textual structure; and that says a great deal coming from me (I tend to be the Grammar Police). Besides, all of that stuff can be learned and dun. If you ever need me to look over a choice of words, a spelling, or something else just send me a DM in PAL... it may take a bit of time but I try to respond to those that are genuinely in need of some help.

Don't quit, let's start a support-group for steemit "suicidal" users? And we can turn it into a clandestine upvoting ring, put all our lifesavings in to Steem that we buy on bitrex send it to steemit and then we can give one each-others meme-posts like 234$? =)

too late... im commited to exiting. i need the money i spent on buying into this charade. party is over.

I see well bye!

What you get isn’t as important as who you become.

Lol, actually steemit has really changed from what it used to be. As there are millions of new users flowing into the platform so it goes harder and harder by day. The best way out to be known in the community is to invest along with creating good content. Rewards no longer comes by good content alone, though this wasn't so some months back. A lot of people are living the platform because they ain't satisfied with the rewards, however I was once advised by a moderator not to be here for the money. @dunstuff you made your choice, farewell bro...
