How to Evaluate: Know, Weigh

As a sovereign individual, i seek high quality information that can be vetted by a second independent source. My inclination is to go to three distinct websites and read the same story from different perspectives. I always choose a pair of polar opposites, so that i get the two major spins on each story.

The initial set of triggers are things that pique my interest. If something resonates with me and rings true, yet is different than i believe, i begin to construct scenarios that make it possible. I am not concerned with the likelihood of truth, nor other people's spin. I need to be able to see a mechanism of mass, form and flow.

Once i have a topic visualized, i can start listening to the voices. Media and alt media provide talking heads that prefer talking about themselves and how they see the picture. Each tries to convince you of their perspective and against all other perspective. Narrow your mind to a duality option.

You have permission to think for yourself. When we do not know, we tend to ask an expert. Ex means former and we all know what a spurt is. However, we all have go to people that we trust who have experience in their field. Free thinkers know when they don't know.

The Know Weigh game is set up as a master/apprentice development tool. The object is to develop perspectives of 360 degreex by employing guilds to collect information on relevant topics. As the guild grows in number, the fibonacci sequence will be used to mix and match topics that seem different but have similar mechanisms. Language will be analyzed to interpret the written and spoken words.

The four initial guilds for know, weigh are Air, Earth, Water and Fire. Assignment will likely be made based on zodiac sign initially, altho i might attempt random self-selection. Consider these guilds to be like houses at Hogwarts. The scribe guild is the set of non player characters that run the game.

Each hypothetical scenario is just another mind game. Insert self into a role and ask what you would do when presented with this situation. Evaluate the same factors that you always look at and rate them on an index, a measurement scale that compares like to like.

Doc takes copious amounts of handwritten notes. A journal might have words, drawings, illustrations, doodles, ya never know. There is always a date, contact information and reference notes. Since i go back and edit thoughts, i used different color pens for tasks. Black and blue are standard colors for any use, other colors are used as flags for editing.

Hand drawn charts and graphs are also occupying pages. I keep data from the back of the journal and writing prose from the front. I track whatever happens to interest me. Sports is easy because the media presents all sorts of stats, and there is always a game on. Plus, sports is a safe topic for finding like minded sports fans.

Sports serves as a conduit and a model. Performance measurement from sports should be applied to education, cooperative competition is a game theory perspective. We can look at the stats we track and determine merit in individual performance. LeBron may be the best, his team got creamed by the Celtics last night.

The know, weigh game takes what we think we know and verifies it by weighing the measurements of what we are tracking. The best player does not always win, this is a team effort. A team is a group is a collection of individual set upon playing the game with common purpose.

You are a group of one. Always. Your consent is required if the game requires unanimity. Consensus means everyone agrees, and it is not coerced agreement by a majority dominating the few objectors to present a united face. Consensus minus one, means we hear your objection, can you convince anyone else in the group to stand with you?

You, the individual can disagree with the group and both be correct. We need to hear out all perspectives, to listen intently to what is being said, not reacting to buzzwords that trigger thoughts. Games all have different scoring metrics, different levels have different objectives.

Crypto-fiction is the outlet for taking what was learned in the game and applying it to the litany of what we think we know. Each of us should find our own niche, and play a character honestly, without malice. Choose an avatar of somebody who was dead before you were born, and speak through their voice about what you see. You now have 'skin' in the game.
