When you like people of your same sex and don't tell the people around you, family, friends, in general the people around you. And hidden so to speak your sexual orientation to them important people in your life would say that you are in the closet, and I know it is difficult to pretend to be something that you are not or not to be what you are for being afraid of being criticized and insulted by your pleasures.
Society doesn't like what is different, that is why there is homophobia in the world, a person's point of view is something very different when they are physically insulted and mistreated because they are "disgusted", the closet is for clothes, not for people.

The point is that society and their pain for the different leads to suicides for not accepting the different, people die of pain and depression for saying what they are, not only in the United States in many countries there is a lot of homophobia, people have afraid of being judged for loving, and they do not have control over what to love, they just love
I only love, you love, we all love. The LGBT community is very beautiful but the closet is for clothes, not for people. Homosexual marriage is legal in over 25 countries.
