Looting and vandalism was rampant in Dublin Ireland as a group of people broke into a Lidl store, they then demolishied the building with a JCB and tried to open a safe which they took from the supermarket.
Gardaí (Irish cops) remain at the store.
"All those arrested are now detained at Dublin Garda Stations".
A police spokesman said several people had been arrested.
