These are truly some of the most important questions we can ask. All of humanity is affected by each other, one way or another; every word, every action, every decision we make goes far beyond our immediate sphere.

That is one of the things that really defines us as humans and not animals; our action impact each other in ways that go far beyond the everyday hunt for food or mates. And you'll never see an animal philosophizing about its existence :) .
