A Day In The Life Of Sheriffo Bojang

I will appreciate to talk about my living in the Gambia located in the western part of Africa..life in Gambia is very difficult if you come from a poor family background.I am a very ambitious boy and work every day in Bush to meet the demands of my basic needs which I badly have especially in rainy season when firewood get wet by the rain .I survive by collecting firewood in Bush 3 to 4 km away from home .when i was in grade five (5) I started paying for my own school fees ,since then up to grade 10 when in high school I face a lot more difficulties and all my hopes to complete my high school were turned up side down.my school fees was beyond control to pay and this led to stopping my education .I was a very good and hard working student and I pass with noble results,my aim and objectives are to be a medical doctor if I finish my education but my dreams could not be accomplish due to poverty.I live with my Aunt and two sisters and we are renting .I am responsible for the payment of the rent .my mother is old and and need care too.i strive so hard in life .my aim is to complete my education and have a better future as education is the key to success in life.Am left with 3 years to graduate from high school .upon completion of high school chances are that certificates acquired from high school can be use to look for a job and if you have you safe to pay for college and university if the job is good and you plan well for it.

 During times of difficulties people we run to show only their back at us.we are stigmatized to the extend we don't seek assistance from neighbours and other people living near us. When mother got sick its local herbs I use to cure her because I could not even afford consultation fees,not to talk of the bill's for the medication.this is more reason my objectives after completion of education to learn to be a doctor.despite being in this very terrible life I do my very best to live right  and continue to be hard working boy.with the help of God feasible chances can come by someone who  would have sincerity and integrity to support me complete my high school.I want to be someone who will be patriotic and help my fellow Gambians who are poor and sick .I want to be very good to my people if I achieve my goals.I hope one day God would help me through someone who IS  sympathetic,generous and sincere.
