I saw a Sylvester Stallone movie today.

Rambo the Last blood.

'How was it?'

It was very good.

But what was baffling about it was that in the end of the movie, they did a little highlight reel of Sylvester's past Rambo movies.

Dude has been going for decades.

Producing hit after hit.

This got me thinking.

If Sylvester Stallone can be so consistent, why not others?

It's because Sylvester Stallone is a creator. He has fun doing what he has been doing.

That's why what we consider difficult, he considers 2nd nature.

I'm no movie producer or script writer, so I find his task to feel like work.

But most of us feel that way about what someone else is good at.

While in his world, he has fund doing it & feels hard to quit.

That's why years later, in his 60s he still ain't stoppin`.

The movie is title Last Blood.

But I don't think it will be the last of Stallone.

Think he is going to be coming in with another hit, whether its Rambo or something else.

You want to zone in on the task which makes you feel like Stallone when he's making Rocky & Rambo.

It's time to gather data, analyze what you liked to do & do less.

Not more.

In school, we were given a bunch of subjects to learn. So a part of us feel guilty when we are simplifying down to 1-2 things.

We feel as though we are not working hard enough.

But nah. That's you directing your energy vs spreading it thin.

Simplify.

Simplification is what allows someone to be consistent for so many years.

And when you simplify, you become more creative at the task. Which allows you to produce more with less.

It's a chain effect of productivity.

So if you have been finding it difficult to be consistent, then take a few
steps back.

Now cut out the crap & obsess over the rest.

That's it.
