Overworked It really is just a state of mind. It might feel like at times that the whole world is crashing around you but the truth is that people carry on with their lives, regardless of the fact how are you feeling at any given point of time. It is our perception of the world that is making us feel lost and lazy. But the truth is that whenever I feel out of sync or just feel like burying my head under the pillow. I resort to a couple of therapy sessions in the form of listening to really positive and practical people. Thanks to the internet these talks are accessible in the ofrm of podcasts and blogs/vlogs. And nothing beats a good music session from the non commercial artists where instruments do the talking than lyrics. And voila I am back in action.

One thing that I noticed during the bouts of anxiety and low feeling is that I tend to use social media a lot like a junky. I keep checking Instagram or Twitter feed just to kill time. It's like hiding away from the work at hand. Getting micro doses of dopamine to stay away from the cause of anxiety.

So the two simple steps to stay upbeat is listen and watch the upbeat people which also includes good company and second is to stay away from social media or any other vice which causes dopamine release as a mind reaction to save you from the stress. Because our minds perceive it as the hard work giving us grief and so it directs is to easier options. But it leads to misery again.

So do give it a try.

It should be people who instead of people which.
