Valentines Day is here and you can't do anything about it. Whether you'll a have a romantic dinner or maybe a couple vacation this day will be special. It's celebrated all around the world, but some of us are celebrating it with their pets...
Let's face it! The world is not full of happy couples. There are divorced ones and single souls also that will not party or drink a cup of wine tonight. That doesn't mean they will be alone. No sir.
For many singles out there there's a cat or a dog waiting them home from work...or maybe just a fish.
Cats and dogs don't talk, from my knowledge, and neither kiss you. They might lick your chick and that's it. But the most important part about them is that you mean the whole world for them. There is no one more important in the eyes of a dog than his owner. He doesn't know that you are rich or poor, that you don't like him pooping in the house or that you just had a bad day. Your pet is there for you and will be there for you for the rest of its life.
They say cats are not like dogs and it's true. A cat jumps on your feet only if she wants comparing to your dog which is an order listener. You don't give orders to cats, and you don't expect them to forget when you bothered them either. One day you will have a claw mark on your skin from them. Pretty much like women.
If you desperately need a date on Valentines then the solution might come from your pet...and I am looking at your dog.
Psychological studies have proven that dog owners are more likely to get into a conversation with the opposite sex in a park, for example, than others who just...don't have a dog. Taking out your dog today might be the best idea if you are single. Don't let him choose for you because you know dogs, they would lick almost anyone, but they might drag you to your next best relationship or your future wife.
If you don't own a pet, today you could consider in buying one, or just adopt one lonely soul like you that had enough time spent in the shelter.
Pets and especially dogs are great life companions, for us adults, but also for children. A dog or a cat can be the babysitter that you never had, or you just wished for. They will make sure your children washed their hands before eating(you know what I mean), give them a shoulder to cry, teach them how to walk and love unconditionally.
So why not...?! Pets will always love you unconditionally, no matter what.
So, if you don't have a Valentine today... No problem. Open a bottle of wine, give the pet some special treats and relax.
me and my cat, we have valentine every day!
