Dark Urban Comedy
Shameless is centered on Chicago based, Gallagher family. William H. Macy plays Frank, the family’s deadbeat, alcoholic patriarch who acts like anything but a father. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is the eldest child, and sudo mother to everyone of her siblings. The twentysomething must raise her five siblings , juggle a handful of crappy jobs and strive for something of a social/dating life.
Twisted sense of humor. Each character faces real struggles, issues I could relate to during my lowest points in life. They are so believable one can’t help but love them and celebrate when they succeed in any way.
