The sun has risen on this dreary Thursday morning ushered in by soggy drops of rain. I don't have the same vigor I had yesterday, but I am still better off than I was last week. I have a dental appointment this morning after I had fillings done last week that led to more pain than prior to the fillings. Ugh..Teeth, so much fun. I started on my painting project due on Friday last night and it is coming out beautifully, much better than I could have imagined. Maybe the rising confidence in painting is what's keeping me going this morning... Regardless, I'd like to stick to writing in my gratitude journal, so today's list begins with:
1. Change
As time moves forward all things change. I once heard someone say, "If everything isn't okay, then you know it's not the end." This was said in a positive note in regards to the ever changing world that we live in. There can be so much joy and happiness which can swiftly devolve into pain and anger, again morphing into pleasure and satisfaction. The only thing that is never changing is Change. I am grateful to be a part of this ever changing masterpiece.
2. My health
As we age, we begin to really notice the wear and tear of our one time use human boy suit. With multiple herniated discs in my neck and back, fibromyalgia, and more, I need to really stay on top of my health. Last week took a toll on my body because I hadn't been eating right, but I am back on course and doing damage control. I am grateful that I am able to maintain my health as long as I stay focused.
3. Cannabis
What more is there to say? Haha! I love cannabis. I love marijuana. I love de herb. All parts of this plant are amazing and can do such wondrous healing. Cannabis is one of the main reasons I am able to cope with the excruciating physical pain I experience every single day. I am grateful to have access to abundant, clean, and affordable medicine.

The power of gratitude cannot be overstated. I don't know if you've read it, but Rhonday Byrne's book, The Magic is the most wonderful thing ever written on gratitude. It's saved my life...more than once. LOL Great post!

Gratitude is a huge part of attitude. I have not checked out that book, I will be sure to put it on my list. Thanks!
Idk why it keeps voting at 1%, I voted at 23% and it keeps changing.
