I had a friend who is a fat fuck.
He was vocal about how my tattoos were all ugly.
Obviously, that was very condescending of him.
And then someone asked him one day whether he would get a tattoo.
He replied that he wouldn't cause he was scared of pain.
Yep.
Sorry not sorry, but... if you're a guy and afraid of a little pain, you're not a man then.
You're a pussy.
What more, a hypocritical one who reeks of insecurities at that, so much so you gotta put down your own friends.
Look at this Grandma killing it!
"Hey Alden, come on, that ain't fair. Different people have a different threshold of pain. Perhaps they have a phobia that was derived from their childhood! You're not being fair!"
Sorry, but that doesn't fly in my book.
There's a fine line between being sensitive to a dude's plight/pain and giving in too much to the point he's enabled to lose his ability to inspire and help those around him i.e. not being a man (as per my definition.)
Sometimes a man, and those around him need to shut the fuck up, deal with it and move the fuck on.
If you truly are suffering deep down from trauma, shut your mouth, stop talking so much about it and just go get help.
