How do you deal with people who seem to lack common sense?
It's like...
One would think being an adult is easy.
One would think that racism is flat-out wrong.
One would think that every piece of action has consequences.
One would think that it doesn't take a genius to be nice and do the right thing.
One would think that everyone's parents taught them proper manners.
One would think that both guys and girls alike should respect each other.
One would think that it's not very cool to publicly shame someone on social media.
One would think many things are easily applicable to all human beings as it mostly borders along common sense...
Yet so many people fuck up, your friends and family included.
It can be especially disheartening and angering when you're just trying your best to be nice and positive, but someone else decides to give you a problem.
I know though, that everyone is different and we all have our different triggers.
But it really still begs to be asked: Why are some people so mean?

These days, I tend to just let it go. I don't need people to agree with me. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and some of them stink.
Humour also helps of course, and realising that they are speaking from their triggers and unprocessed B.S. , just as I am in other situations.
I like to think I'm capable of critical thought much of the time. However, like most of us, I still get caught up in old stories regularly.

If I'm feeling super royal, I say love em still and do my best to show compassion. Though sometimes I know I do it extra just to balance my own ego.. like I said never forget it's a game! Play it your own way boss 👍

It's a person by person thing for me. If it's family I'll try to work with them til it's proven to be pointless. If it's a close friend I'll have slightly less patience. If it's a lover I'll have more patience than with family. But with all if they prove to just be dense on something I'll walk away. Now if it's some rando...I'll either mess with them til I get bored or ignore them. No point talking to a wall.
