Bumper Stickers Baby!!!

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

One day in 2013, I was home alone in my Brethren Volunteer Service Community House in Portland, Oregon. Someone had given me a Ritalin for whatever reason (drugs are rampant up there) and once that was mixed up with a J or two of indoor-grown marijuana, I picked up my little leather journal with the large googly eyes on the front, and started writing bumper stickers. I had hundreds by the time I was done. It was a great day for creativity. Ever since, I've had that notebook, filled with what I consider sticker gold, dreaming of the day when I will create and sell my adhesive aphorisms. Recently, with the help of a friend with a hella nice printer, I have been creating these babies on Microsoft Word and printing them out on glossy, sticky paper. Then spraying them with a clear gloss coat and cutting them out. This version is dope as a general sticker, but I wish it would hold up better on a car. After a few days of heavy rain, they get crinkly. Ideas are welcome.

Here are a few that I printed in the first batch. Stay tuned for more. There's enough to last a lifetime. Thanks for reading. Peace
