The Big Bang theory describes how the universe came into being. It is a model that seeks to understand how the universe is rapidly expanding from a high-density state. For scientists, the Big Bang marks the beginning of everything. But what was before the Big Bang? Nothing? What caused the singularity-that is, the birth of the Universe?

There are many scientists who study these things but as for me, I don't know.

lol, no one knows. Even the great Stephen Hawkins, did not know, and he realized that there was an issue with the theory. At that, let's call it a singularity-level, all of the theories fall apart.
This is one of the reasons for his multiple Universes theory, that randomly spawn other universes fully formed.

Nothing. Nothing includes time and space, so there was not even vacuum. There were not other dimensions either.
