A friend of mine brought this beautiful box of fruit & veg to my door out of the blue!

My family and I have been going through a tough time of it lately, and not only have I been overwhelmed with generous SBD donations from this awesome steemit community (to help cover sudden and ongoing medical expenses), but to also have people bringing us fresh fruit & veg, as well as tasty home cooked meals for my family and I, totally restores my faith in humanity.

I've said before that I often see "the glass half empty", however the recent generosity I've received really flips everything on its head. It's been hard to share and talk about my troubles, and harder to ask for and accept help, but the extent of people's generosity and selflessness - people I know in real life, AND fellow steemians whom I've never met, simply floors me!
