Bania Sunday Inspiration: The Devil is Not Your Greatest Enemy

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Devil has been so unlucky and according to my assumption she’s the most accused creature on earth.

Very religious and ignorant people do stupid things and end up accusing the devil of been the cause. Rendering disgusting statement like: the devil pushed me into doing this.

When a 75 year old man rapes a 14 year old girl, and says it’s the devil handwork; what a wrong accusation?

When you are not honest with your spouse and always picking up faults with them and yet accused the devil of destroying your marriage; what a wrong accusation?

When you're mad at the people that could help you get a life and messing up every chance of connecting with the right people and yet accused the enemy of blocking your success in life; what a wrong accusation?

Anything destructive that you find difficult to control is your greatest enemy, the devil can only use that to manipulate you.

The devil can only manipulate you easily if you lack the right attitude in life.

Sometimes we are our greatest enemy, most times our greatest enemy is our emotion, our body, our appetite, our attitude, our comfort zone, our mentality e.t.c...

We are slaves to things we can’t control and those things usually end up been our gods like the devil.

Stop accusing the devil you don’t know and start dealing with the devil within (yourself)

90% of life problems are caused by our thoughts; when we have wrong thoughts, we have error in living and the devil becomes a suspect.

When you build your own storm, don’t get mad when it rains.

Learn to be responsible for everything that happens in your life.

The devil is aware he’s not your greatest enemy; he knows he only needs to put you in a state of discouragement, then you are your worst enemy.

A very good post enlightening the misconception of blaming the Devil for many of our troubles and problems. The truth is man makes the choices, either to manifest the attributes of his Maker (the purpose he was originally designed for) or be a vessel for the sinful nature of the Devil.

I've upvoted and now following.

Welcome and thanks man for that great input, i will be checking out your blog

Finally i have seen someone who has same ideas and point of view as mine, People should stop being ignorant and stop using devil to justify their actions.

Yeah, its crazy how people don't want to take responsibility for anything. We shift responsibility to God by praying all day when we ought to be working and now blame the devil when we fail to succeed

What a life

Truely devil is the most deadly creature on earth, is the one behind all the atrocity on earth

Really

You are right @bania. You got my upvote and i wish i can upvote more than once. Golden truths!
