Obedience is action taken to show love and respect towards the commands. Are we completely obedient to God and his commandments, Or we are partially obedient? Where do we stand?

Most of the time we try to offer God partial obedience. We make a list of commands that we like to obey and follow them. My son likes to stay home and so he is obedient, but does not like to clean nor cut the lawn. My daughter likes to clean, but does not like to cook. What are all this action telling us? I have seen people who do an act of obedience by reading the bible, but can not forgive the one that hurt them. It is all partial obedience.

This is just not seen in children but mostly in adults. Partial obedience is an act of Complete Disobedience. God does not like such an act.

John 14:15 clearly tells us - If you love me, you will observe my commandments.

With that we have a beautiful promise in Isaiah 43:2 - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, And through the rivers, they will not flood over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame singe you.

Than why can't we start being Obedient Wholeheartedly. Can we make changes on the list of command? Our Obedience will please God.

Thank you for reading.
