When birds attack! Abandoned cockatoo takes disliking to me.

Hey guys, this is a video I took of a cockatoo that came into our shelter a few weeks ago, It appears he isn't super fond of men, but then again sometimes he attacks the women too so who knows.

The first 3 days he was here he was absolutely lovely, he would talk to me and cuddle up with me. the first night he sat inside my jumper for 4 hours with his head poking out very happy. One day he just kinda changed.
It's strange that he doesn't seem to fly, he has all his flight feathers but he never even tries, happy to hop around on the ground. It's a little odd and we think he may just not know how to fly, he's over 25 years old so I'm not sure how likely this is but i suppose if he never learned he may not even know hes able to.

Anyway this is him chasing my feet and trying to attack me, being very mean :( shortly after this he was sitting inside on the couch and he jumped up and latched onto my stepdads cheek leaving a huge gash on his face. We may be finding a new home for this cockatoo as they have an average life-span of 50-70 years...
