Yesterday was not short of excitement. While driving I was on the phone, going 40mph when all of a sudden it felt like I was in neutral. The engine would rev, but would not engage the transmission. So I moved over to the right lane as I looked for a right turn, and then realized that my power steering was also gone. This became tricky as I could not slow down too muck to make a turn as I needed the momentum to finish the turn. I was able to make a turn into a empty parking lot where I turned off the truck, and then tried to restart. At which time it would not. So I called a tow truck, and 30 min later I tried to start it again. Boom fired up, and drove about the day hoping it would not die again. I have a appointment with the mechanic at 8 am, and sure it won't be a cheap fix.
