 In 1978, Soviet geologists prospecting in the wilds of Siberia discovered a family of six, lost in the taiga.

 The Lykovs lived in this hand-built log cabin, lit by a single window “the size of a backpack pocket” and warmed by a smoky wood-fired stove.

The Smithonian is highly political motivated and keeps knowledge away from the public like the giant bones.

I thought it was a very well-written piece. There was no politics about it.
