There's No Roller Coaster On Which You Can Ride

How has the way you live your life changed as you draw closer to the Lord?

Zephaniah 3:17
"The Lord your God is with you, the mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

There is no spiritual roller coaster on which you can ride. God is always constant and present, regardless of what you do. Our life is like a roller coaster. We encounter many obstacles and trials in life. As Christians, there will always be ups and downs in our christian walk with God and there are many twists and turns on the road of faith.

Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God is with you; He will never leave you, nor forsake you."

God promises us in His holy word to be with us in the ups and downs of life. There's no reason to be afraid of. God is with us, so close to us. We should stay connected to Him. We should offer thanks to our God who walks with us on the mountain and in the valley.

Isaiah 43:2
"When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you."

Life is tough and life is hard. But, God came to overcome the world. We might be in sorrows or in crossroads, and we may face storms and thunderstorms in life, whatever it is, we will be still and know that He is God. Wherever we are in lifes roller coaster, know that Jesus is in that seat beside us. We are not riding alone.
