When you get knocked down, you just get the fuck back up.
You look life in the eye and you say, what now motherfucker? Bring it!
You're going to get knocked down more.
Just keep getting back up.

Why?

Because what's the alternative?

Let's look at it objectively. You've had a bad stretch. What are the chances things will continue to be this bad in the future?
Pretty slim, most likely.
So, given time, things will eventually get better. You'll still have bumps in the road, don't get me wrong.
But overall you will find your groove.
So you've lost your dream.
Does that mean you will never have another dream?

Fuck no!!
There's no limit on what we can dream. One door closes, another may open. Two may open. A hundred may open!

Stop focusing on the bad shit that has happened to you. There's good shit out there too. Sometimes you have to search hard for that good shit. But it's out there. Once you find it, focus on that. But learn from your mistakes.

YOU CANNOT CONTROL WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST, BUT YOU CAN CONTROL HOW IT AFFECTS YOU NOW.

Rocky Balboa was not a great fighter because he was a heavy hitter. He really wasn't. He was a great fighter because he kept getting back up and never gave up. By the way, go watch rocky right now. I'm serious.

View yourself more positively! Maybe once you do that others will do so also.

YOUR INTERNAL DIALOG shapes who you are...what you say about yourself and your life. If you don't view yourself highly, you're probably not going to accomplish much in life.

Get fucking cocky about how fucking awesome you are. At least internally. Then maybe over time you'll start to believe it and start to live it.
