I sometimes write poems. And there's one I've written two years ago:

Life is a journey that we all must take
Filled with moments both sweet and bittersweet bake
It's a tapestry woven with threads so bright
With colors that shimmer, reflecting the light.

In its beauty, we find the gift of each day
With opportunities waiting, just waiting to play
It's a canvas that we paint with laughter and tears
With memories that last through the passage of years.

The sun rises each morning, a new day is born
Bringing with it the chance to start something new, reborn
Nature awakens, its wonders on display
A symphony of colors, in perfect array.

The sky above us, so vast and so blue
With clouds that wander, in shapes we can view
The stars at night, twinkling and bright
Guiding us through the darkness, with their gentle light.

In life's journey, we find our true friends
With bonds that are strong, until the very end
We share in each other's joys and fears
And wipe away tears, throughout the journey of the years.

So cherish the beauty of life, each day and night
Embrace all its wonders, with all your might
For it's a precious gift, that we've been given to hold
And a journey to cherish, before we grow old.
