A single guy that knows he is in need of a partner and is working towards it, will get more stares from people when they see him laughing around or having few female friends coming around to say “hello” to him.
You won’t only hear whispers, but they will say it to your face because they feel you should have taken your life more seriously by “quickly” getting a lady.
I wonder when “your life” has suddenly become “their lives”. I wonder why they would take painkillers for another person's pains and aches.
If you are still not getting their points, trust me, they will remind you how old you are and point out to you, those way younger than you, who are already married and possibly with a kid(s) to show for it.
Some people just don’t understand how you could be happy or not see some certain things as a problem.
I understand some might do that out of care, but ONLY when the person concerned doesn’t know about that aspect or needed just a push in the right direction. Some people will actually be on your case and you start forming an opinion about your own life and start being unnecessarily careful around them. That is wrong.
Don’t let people invent a problem you don’t see as a problem. Let them suggest, let them point, let them insinuate, but you need to be honest with yourself why you are doing what you are doing. Your own “honest” reason should be enough for you.
Recently a guy was asked why he was single and he told them he wants to be able to take care of himself first, before being able to take care of another person.
He wants to be comfortable being single first, so he won’t rush to get married, only for him to wish to go back to single life, and trust me, his reason was genuine enough to me.
A lot don’t know relationships requires a lot of time and commitment and if you can’t sacrifice that for now, better hold off on it...for now.
