The mainstream interpretation of the Bible, and the esoterically True interpretation of the Bible.

Hello, @cipriang,

Thanks for reading and responding to my post. I appreciate your interaction, but disagree with your viewpoint. There is considerable historical and archeological evidence for the existence of Jesus and of many of his followers.

If Jesus was a real person, and if John's book in the bible provides us with an actual representation of things that Jesus said, then it might be important for you to consider and respond to Jesus words.

Jesus is not a state of mind, he is the creator-God of the universe and is due our belief and worship.

Thank you again for your interaction.

😄😇😄

I'm happy we can interact in an environment where there aren't logs to be burned on. lol

I'm kidding. But I do appreciate this kind of interaction as well. It's good to be able to express our different points of view, and then just follow our own path regardless of what others choose to Believe.

Just as I'm hearing from you that there is considerable historical and archaeological evidence for the physical existence of Jesus, I have also heard that there is little to no considerable historical and archaeological evidence for His physical existence.

We do agree that Jesus is the Creator-God of the universe. But the only kind of worship he "demands" of us is to be Aware of His existence Within Us. We please Him only in knowing that I and Him is One. That there is no separation.

Thank you too @creatr! Looking forward to more awesome conversations with you. :)

I also have read this ... and I dont wanna sound like a smart ass ... but if either of those debating God have read Pascals Pesnsees :
http://www.ntslibrary.com/PDF%20Books/Blaise%20Pascal%20Pensees.pdf

or Platons "The Cave" witch even has a short animation on

Youtube

these are things easy to understand ... then you could have a real debate ... conversation there are many more I could of mentioned but these i found to be my starting point of contemplation ...

I haven't read Pascal Pesnsees so I can't speak about that, but I have looked into Plato's allegory of the cave before.

I totally agree with the allegory. But it can use against any kind of argument brought up by anyone.

  • If you would say that the Physical world and physical sensations are the only real thing, I can use this allegory against you.
  • If you believe in God, I can use the allegory against you.
  • If you don't believe in God, I can use the allegory against you.
  • If you don't believe in Vampires, I can use the allegory against you.
    So on and so forth.

Anyway, thanks for getting involved in the conversation!
