There are to many people in Venezuela, most of them are students who are near to finish a university career, who are thinking in the next step... What about now? Should I stay in my country and get a job even knowing I'm not gonna be capable to buy house nor a car with the high cost of everything? Praying every day to NOT get sick because probably I could not find the medicine? And not talking about food.. It really hits in the face going to the market.. So, as a reasonable person, I can say there are 2 options: 1) To stay in Venezuela, only with that strong hope of a progressive country that most of Venezuelan around the world want to see.. OR.. 2) Leaving the country, just with a suitcase in a shoulder and the dream of a better future at any cost, knowing it's gonna be hard to leave your family, friends, home, even your bed, but with a new hope: a place in wich you can work and be paid fairly, so you could be capable of get a real savings account. So, you may THINK the next THINGS:
- You have a long life to live, go where the best future waits for you and don't stay stuck when the time of getting the next step arrives.
- Don't wait for anybody, nobody is gonna wait for you and maybe, your lead will be the "push" that that someone needs to get the next step too.
- Don't EVER think it's gonna be ease, remember "what ease comes, ease goes". Work hard and don't think in the pay, that's going to come at the right moment.
- Loneliness could be your worst enemy, but you can make it your best friend. If you have very free time, find a way of making money from home, so, you can get the free time full of work without a boss.
- RELAX!!! Not everything is work, work and more work. Get a tour around your new city, go to a new place at least once a week and have an ice cream. You deserve it.
- Don't forget to tell your family the good things every day; that must help them if they are in the hard process of emigrating.
- Don't ever let a bad experience stuck you nor collapses you. The bad things must pass with a cold tea and a cookie!
- If you are living with someone else (friend or not) always remember that sharing a place is synonymous of troubles and you must be patient and "adapt" to the other's customs, because you have your owns and you don't know what disturbs him and what doesn't.
- BE LEGAL!!! Legalize your documents at the right time and don't have a bad experience with immigration.
- You are you. Don't let the change changes you because you took the hard decision of leaving to be happier, establish your home and make your own family. Don't be afraid to make new friends and don't forget those old friends (they are your family too).
THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY NEW EXPERIENCE IS HARD, SCARY AND EXCITING; THE KEY IS, ALWAYS GOING WITH THE BEST ATTITUDE.
GOOD LUCK!!

I like this, man. Very good advice. Especially the one about being respectful while trying to live with other people; that can be very difficult. Also about being kind to yourself. sometimes the best answer like you said is to take a walk and buy an icecream... actually i might go do that right now (minus the walk just the ice cream :)
