Writing for The Point of Writing

Hey Steemians :)

I am back from an extended hiatus due to an increasingly difficult study work-load which inhibited my ability to post regularly. That being said, i am back now. Something i enjoy almost as much as writing on topical medical issues is the art of writing itself. It is peaceful, comforting and relaxing to express a voice on different themes - often personal in nature. For this reason (and more), i have decided to begin a new segment appropriately titled 'writing for the point of writing'. Here i will share with you some discursive styled-essays on various themes; some will be very generalised and others will tackle socio-cultural issues.

I hope to hear some feedback from you all!
