Social Media

in life •  6 years ago  (edited)

At some point in our lives we feel beaten, ran down or probably drowned by some forces.
We struggled to survive or at least stay alive one day at a time.
Our realities are not necessarily mirrored by our snapshots or photos as posted in social media. There was a time when I was torn between to post & not to post.
I felt some shots of mine look fancy. Other shots, I’m afraid, might appear pretentious to others as some do look grand. But I also get to ask myself if is it really necessary to wear your realities in public all the time. I am sure I don’t have to.
I also believed that we should be allowed to have sometime to detach ourselves from our realities as a breather, as a way of seeing the brighter side of life, as a way of looking & finding a better perspective in life.
I have come to embrace social media as a sort of breather or an avenue to express yourself, to inspire others and be inspired in return. I love it when I get updates from my feeds as to how my friends are. I am so done with negative feelings. Life is too short to even consider the negativities.
We are alive!
Therefore, we should truly live!❤️IMG_20180415_171400.jpg
