Our Dog Hobie was born just after the world famous surfboard /catamaran maker HOBIE ALTER DIED. We named him Hobie wan kanobie just because it had a ring to it and was a fun tie into star wars. Hobie is three years old. I was in the dog food store and they had lots of starwars adds, fun after i made hobie a new tag we lost. Plus we had just been to where there working on a bronze statue for hobie that will be put on doheney beach.
