Food is not only the center of the culture here in Argentina, it was also the centre of our experience!
We were treated to some sopaipilla which is a fried bread and very common. Later we saw some wild fruits called chañar being dried out in the sun.
Everyone in the village that we met had adapted to the increased interest in their small town. Whilst they retained their local traditions, they also used them to bring in more money for their families.
This local couple made scarfs and different items of clothing that they can sell at indigenous and tourist markets. Some of the villagers here take their crafts all the way to Buenos Aires.
Yummy food
