A FedEx Man Came To My Door 2.10.2021

I was writing something for Hive and I heard the door bell ring. So I went to the door and a man said, something with a last name.

The thing was that it was not my last name. I asked it the first name was David. He told me it was for a first name of, I think was Arial. Well, there is no one by the name of Arial where I am.

So I pointed at my mail box which is right by my door and asked if the street number was this. Then the guy looked at the street number on my mail box and said he got the wrong place and that it was some houses more west of where I was.

It happens that people make mistakes. I know cause the last name that the FedEx guy mentioned is a name that I sometimes get his mail, you see the guy down the street has the same first name as me.

So many times do I walk down the street and knock on his door and tell him or someone that lives there, Hi, I'm you neighbor from down the street and I mention my street number and I hand them the mail that got misdelivered to me, but it is their mail.

They always thank me for doing that.

So when the FedEx guy came to me mentioning the same last name that is always misdelivered to me, I figured that FedEx is going to misdeliver to me too, if I don't straighten things out.

So by pointing to my mail box and calling out the street number, he knew right away that he made a mistake and by him knowing his mistake, he did not have to do a misdelivery.

So all is well and the package will go to its rightful owner.
