The Reason You Live Everyday

I wanted to write a journal , as I pen down the date, I notice something. The date is 11/1/18 i.e 11118. I look again,it seems there is something special about this day but because I don't want to forget what's in my head ,I started writing and forget about it. Then comes 12/1/18. The date has changed, I was listening to my mentor and my father in the early morning prayers and he said something so striking, he said something about certainty of today. He said today is fresh, yesterday is gone and gone forever, it will never come back again in the history of the World. Everyday is a certain date, if you can just be that certain person that will make use of the opportunity that is loaded into each day. There are people that are squeezing out of each day, goodness, resources, opportunities to make their life better. There are also people that lives like "Let us leave it for another day" . It all depends on the side that you want to stay. There are so many distractions this days, from various Technology gadgets, to social medias and apps,if care is not taking, you wont have anything done. But I have this good news for you, you can get the trucks loaded with benefits everyday. That's the way the Lord designed each day. It takes more than living in mental realm only to fulfil your day. You need to connect to your deepest why. You can ask yourself this, why did I wake up today, what is that one thing I am eating for. If you have difficulty locating your big WHY, don't worry, you need to exercise yourself each morning and sooner than later you will get it. Remember, Life is a race and it's only who runs that get the prize. Yesterday is past, tomorrow is a future with a clean sheet to write what you desire on. Today is a gift and that's why it is called PRESENT. Make use of it.
