Hello, Steemers!
I'm so excited to animate this post with a very energetic greeting. And the good vibes must always be present in the things that you are most passionate about. In the case of chefs, what is most passionate is to feel that art, seasoning and you, united with each other. But what good is the passion for cooking, if you do not have a good attitude with your co-workers?

We know that working in a professional kitchen is to be in constant stress, where in itself the work becomes competition, to know who makes a great job or who makes a mistake. Where the minimum error can be a disaster in the service and that in a few cases the success is noticed. Waiting for the Chef to award or punish the victim of the day, even though ALL have the intention to give an excellent service.

Many factors cause the work environment to be put in a very heavy position and it does not become strange that it creates tense moments that in some cases becomes companionship into enmity. All this can change with the following five tips that, in my experience, I will share:
Know your limits and stay calm:
In strong services, it is important to stay focused. Focus the mind on a simple goal: "finish the service successfully". It sounds redundant, but during the moment of stress you only expect the service to end anyway and you lose the focus on quality of work and therefore the environment increases the tension. If you know yourself and you know how far you can go, then you are able to challenge yourself to overcome it, but without losing your senses. With practice and much reflection, the environment is achieved and maintained in harmony.Make friends with co-workers during off-work time:
We all love to socialize and to achieve a good team it is not bad to personally know the teammates. The hangouts are good tools to link the team, as each one knows more closely the personalities of the partners, helping to know how to go between each of them, avoiding the moment of tension. In addition, it is a good excuse to relax after hard work. Remember that you spend more time with the team than with the family, so you have to try to have a pleasant environment.Pride is toxic:
The human has the instinct to seek to be superior, for something we decided to be chefs. So much so, that in order not to lose respect, we reject the fact of recognizing mistakes. Learning to accept them, apologize at the right time and keep your purpose of being in the kitchen, makes the differences dissipate.Be an example to follow:
It's like good education. Do not do what you would not want them to do to you. Being punctual, avoiding bad practices, following rules and being respectful are good habits that give a lot to say about the quality of work. Most of the discomforts are when someone in your group does some things that are wrong. If it happens, communicate it with good attitude, remember that we are not perfect!Organization:
The main basis of a kitchen is the organization. The more organized you are, the work will be more valued. Review the lists of what to do, keep the area clean, check the deposit and mise en place, so that nothing is missing and delegate responsibilities. Show interest in everything is in order, you will save a lot of work, stress and co-workers feel supported.
The list is very short for the large number of ways to make the day to day in the kitchen more pleasant. But these are the ones that I consider most important.
