Some of my EDC gear that I've got with me today! What are you all carrying?

Got some bigger gear with me today compared to the last time I posted about what I was carrying with me. Shown in this photo is my Rock Island Armory Tactical II 1911 with green Operator II VZ Grips chambered in .45acp, my BRS Alpha Beast 3.0 with green anodizing, a swankhanks Fallout Vault Tec handkerchief, the Boker Hawkit mulit tool, and my Necromorph leather wrapped zippo. I'm also carrying the phone I took the picture with, as well as a wallet but I figured I'd leave those out. I think I've got some pretty sweet pocket art with me today, if I do say so myself! I don't normally carry my 1911 since it's a heavier gun, but I've just been doing yardwork and hanging out today so I figured why not!

So, what are you all carrying today? Thanks for checking out my post! If you've got any remarks or questions, leave them below!

No reloads for your pistol? I carry 2 Wilson Combat 10 round mags in a fobus paddle mag carrier when I go out and about with my 1911.

I don't have a mag carrier set up for the 1911 yet. I very rarely CCW it, to be honest. I'm usually carrying my CZ P-07 which I have a mag carrier for, it's just a more practical choice for carrying for me.

I don't normally cary mine either. Normally it's my Glock 34.

Good choice! At some point I really need to pick up a Glock and give it a try. I loved the Gen 4 Glock 17 I tried before, but I'd probably be better off to get a 19 or a 26 for CCW in the future.

I have a 17 that I cut the frame down to the size of a 19 and I carry it with a 15 round G19 mag then G17 mags for reloads. I can still fit all my fingers on the grip but it is a little more concealable plus it has the longer barrel & sight radius which helps.

Very cool! I don't carry anything as cool as your items. I need an EDC upgrade. Steemit needs more EDC posts.

I totally agree about that, would love for an EDC community to sprout up on here at some point.

If you ever need any suggestions or just want some opinions on gear feel free to hit me up, by the way!

I sure will. Keep posting reviews please.

Oh, I will. So long as I can keep affording to buy stuff to review, lol. I was going to review this really cool custom ring I had made, but I'm pretty sure the maker actually made it in the wrong size. Either that, or in the last 5 months my fingers have someone went up 2.5 sizes.

That is my problem. I need to increase my EDC budget to get some cool stuff worth posting. I'm going to buy that Svord peasant knife that you reviewed awhile back. I like the copper or brass version.

What other kind of stuff are you interested in? I could recommend some nice quality fountain pens, watches, multi tools, prybars, flashlights, and handkerchiefs that are all $25 or under. I started out with a small budget for my gear and really slowly worked my way up over the years, so I know where you're coming from.

I work in an office environment. Would like to carry wallet, phone, small pocket knife, pen, and handkerchief. Wouldn't mind keeping a nice multi tool and small flashlight in my car center console.

Would you prefer the multi tool have pliers on it? Or, do you not really care either way?

For a nice fountain pen, I've really been loving my Pilot Metropolitan pen, anything Pilot brand is good to go. The Lamy Safari is another nice fountain pen that is trustworthy as well for EDC.

If you're looking for a new wallet and don't need a leather one, Maxpedition makes a great wallet called the Spartan that I used for a few years. I switched when my girlfriend got me a new leather wallet that has Godzilla tooled on it because I'm a giant nerd, lol. But, I still highly recommend the spartan.

Besides the Svord Peasant Micro, you could check out the Spyderco Stainless Steel Bug as well. I bought one for my friends keyring and he really liked it. They're very cheap, coming in at around $12. But, it's also super, super tiny, lol. They make a few larger models that are also still small called the Honeybee and Grasshopper as well.

I could recommend several hankie makers to you, it would depend if you want just a plain design with nothing fancy on it, or if you want any certain types of patterns or fabrics.

Also, for flashlights, check out the Streamlight Stylus Pro light. I bought one for my friend and he is still using it after 3 years. It's a great light at a fairly cheap price, right around $19. A few other options are the Fenix E12 which I carried for a few years and still do sometimes, I absolutely loved the thing until I upgraded about a year ago. The flashlight I switched to has become a favorite due to it's size and lumen output, as well as the fact it's made from titanium, the Thrunite Ti CW.

Taser and a knife. Both gifts from YouTube subs. What can I say, people like To give me stuff. Wish the stuff was 10s and 20s but I'll take what I can get! 😂🤓

Hey, a free knife is a free knife! Haha.

I like both of those pens, but I'm going to get a Lamy Safari, then I'm going to keep it close so that one of my clients doesn't swipe it. They always walk off with my pens.
