This is husk, which is primarily produced from paddy. After boiling paddy and processing it in a machine to extract rice, the extra parts of the grain become husk. Husk is very important for our country because most people in Bangladesh raise cattle and goats. Animal husbandry is a part of our tradition, and among domestic animals, cows and goats are the most common.
To meet the nutritional needs of cattle and goats, husk plays a crucial role. It is a key ingredient in balanced animal feed and is essential for fattening cattle. In fact, husk is considered one of the primary foods for cattle, making it highly valuable in our daily lives.
After cultivating my own land, I personally produce and store husk for my domestic cows and goats. I recently collected several pictures of husk and found them quite interesting, so I am sharing them with you today.
