The Cheesecake Factory gave me and two friends money to work on a personal project. Here’s what we did with it.

In 1978, David M. Overton opened a small restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. He insisted on doing things his own way, selling his mother’s cheesecakes in addition to the restaurant’s large menu, and soon the line in was out the door.
