Gender Equality has been described as an important component of any population policy,
No meaningful development can be achieved without a populationpolicy that meet the needs of the people, now a greater number of women are now participating in policy and decisions of most economy.

Sadly in most communities thorny issues as ' Male child preference ' high maternal and mortality rate, voilence against women and women 's laxk of sexual decision making power are yet to be adequately addressed.

Lastly, better education and information on sexuality does not promote promiscuity but promotes sexual abstinence until marriage.
