He Won't Commit Until He Tastes the Forbidden Fruit

This is the dilemma of every guy and girl out there, mostly those wanting to 'chop' that babe or guy. But how about the serious ones who think its cheap for a guy to refuse to commit until sex is involved in the relationship?
I mean, i am writing from the female perspective and all but i will try to understand the guy's point of view.
Where are the gentlemen, the real Lancelot and Gallahad of our time? Why must she give it up before you commit and consider it a real relationship? Finding a real loving relationship these days is like needle in the haysack situation. Everybody has become jaded and cynical and not without reason though, i don't blame them.
We ladies though can relate to it. To be frank, we sometimes even feel unworthy to accept stuff from a guy (decent ladies oh) that we have no intention of getting down with. But the question is 'must i get down with him before he takes me seriously?'
Well, in a world where sex is as common as water, what do we expect? Withholding the forbidden fruit is unheard of and most guys don't want to be called a 'mugu' or 'Ode' by friends.
Your claim to no sex is like telling him you want to use him, his money and resources while you share none of yourself. Basically, it seems correct but logically, its bull.
I know the guys will fight me on this. No guy is a gentleman anymore. Everybody has 'wised up' and nobody wants to be a fool. Infact, the only place you find girls that will say no is in the church and we call them prudes, tease and rigid.
