Our Fourth and Fifth/Last Day in Seattle! Pacific Science Center, Snoqualmie Falls!

Fourth Day!

The first three days were hectic with us trying to see everything we wanted to. When we got to the fourth day, we had pretty much seen all we wanted to. We decided we wanted to do a couple of other small things, then head back to the house, since it was out last day we wanted to just hangout there instead of yelling at Seattle's Saturday traffic. This was also the prettiest day we were there, so we were supposed to take a cruise....however it was also the windiest day. The waves looked pretty rough, so we didn't want to risk sea sickness.

First we went to the Pacific Science Center. This would have been cool to see, however for some reason we picked Saturday to go...when school is out. Kids were everywhere! But, the exhibits were still fun to see. We made some huge bubbles. We also watched a documentary on bugs and birds at the IMAX theater (I don't think that was @alovelymess's favorite part..). I really enjoyed seeing the manual transmission and the differential.

When we got back to the house, later that night we picked up a couple of steaks at the grocery store and took them home to cook them. This was my first time ever cooking steak, and I was surprised...it was so good! We also had roasted asparagus and potatoes.

Fifth Day!

We set out to leave the house by 10am. Our first stop was going back in the city for a quick stop at Rachel's Ginger Beer to get a jug of Passion Fruit Vanilla Ginger Beer. We're drinking this very slowly, because it's only available in Seattle. After that we hit the road. We were kind of concerned about the Snoqualmie Pass being...well, impassible. However it was completely clear and we had no problems. Actually, there was no snow on the road until we got off the interstate in Coeur D Alene. Anyways, we made a couple of stops along the way. One of them was a general/antique store and one being Snoqualmie Falls.

The antique store was pretty surprising to see, because it's right off the interstate in a random spot. When we walked in the bottom floor is fresh produce and some cool little artisan foods. The next two levels was all antiques! My wife and I love thrift/antique stores, so it was cool to see.

After that, we decided to stop at Snoqualmie Falls which was a fantastic decision! We didn't have to do any hiking, this was right off the side of the road. We pulled into the parking lot and walked across a small bridge over the road, and we were there! It was BEAUTIFUL! I have never seen a waterfall this massive. We were pretty high up from the bottom and the mist from it was still like a soft rain. It was crazy!
