I cannot start this post without giving a brief insight into the story of facebook. A group of people were pitched an offer, some declined because they deemed it impossible, other stayed and invested their time, energy, money and other resources to it's growth, today, they have made it.

So many people have found themselves in similar positions and were given an opportunity for their big break, guess what, a lot of them turned it down because it was probably not what they expected.

I know I have written a similar post before, but I felt the need to expatiate more on it.

The truth about life is that every man, big or small gets an opportunity to make that difference, the truth is it is up to you to utilize it and make the best out of your life and dreams.

Someone said good things come to those who wait, I wish to counter that. Good things come to those who earn a deserving right to own those good things.

An idea is basically the future trapped inside our heads.It might turn out fine, it might end badly, but we will never find out until we at least make an attempt.

Imagine people's lives could have been changed forever but doubt and uncertainty stopped them in their tracks.

Sometimes the only thing some people have is just pride. Don't get me wrong, pride is good, but when that is all you have, you need to checkmate it.

Pride is good, but pride also kills faster than you think. The battle of Troy could have had a different outcome if the King had put his pride aside to claim the spoils of war and burnt the Horse.

Truthfully, do you know that when we have nothing we think beyond what we normally do, but that also poses a disadvantage in the sense that we become limited in our fear of safety, even when we have nothing.

If we have nothing and do nothing, we will remain at nothing for a long time to come.Nobody ever got to the top by just simply wishing.

There are moments in our lives when we wish we can be as rich as Bill Gates, we envision what we'll do with that cash, we might get ourselves a fancy house and an exotic car, perhaps a private jet and own luxury yacht. Who knows, acquire other investments along the way.

But we need to understand that risks are an integral part of life and success.

When we are faced with a risk which won't cost us a dime neither will it cost us our lives or freedom too, we should not hesitate to take it because we might just discover that we'll be happy at the end of the day.

@trafalgar was one investor who took the risk and invested quite a fortune here, when steem price rose to $2, I remembered him saying he was a steem millionaire.

Risks are called risks for a reason, they are either accompanied by the rewards when undertaken, or you get burnt. There is no way to tell which will be the outcome unless we undertake the risk of course in the first instance.

There is no glory without the cross and the greater the cross we carry, the greater the glory.

Pushing beyond the fear factor

Of course, fear factor (for those who have seen it) is a great show, but I learnt something valuable from there. If you can master your fear and take risks, the glory is all yours.

The idea of fear is not only a limiting one, but also a preparatory one.

When I say preparatory, I mean if conquered, we will discover that it majorly prepared our minds for what was to come. Fear is always one of our greatest enemy when it comes to succeeding.

Sometimes, I dare say it the the brother of pride. What fear does is it sets the thoughts of impossibility in our minds and we have to conquer the impossible for it to become possible.

The above words are more than mere quotes, they serve as guidelines for the conqueror. The truth still remains for you to succeed, you have to attempt in the first instance.
