Definiendo “Éxito”, exitoso
La palabra “éxito” es definida por un Diccionario como el “resultado feliz de un negocio o empresa”. Esto parece ser una meta anhelada por muchos, pero sólo menciona el final, es decir el resultado. No habla del proceso para llegar allí, los obstáculos, las dificultades, las limitaciones antes de lograr el éxito. Por deducción podría definir a una persona “exitosa” como alguien que termina su vida feliz, que logró sus metas. Pero esto tampoco menciona el proceso para llegar allí.

Camino al éxito
Creo que la manera para llegar a ser una persona exitosa no es solamente teniendo aspiraciones para lograrlo, es más bien superar las adversidades que se pudieran suscitar en el camino de alcanzar las metas. Para que alguien logre terminar su vida feliz, es decir pueda considerarse una persona exitosa debe tener la determinación de evaluarse, examinarse si sus decisiones le llevaran a una vejez con sus seres queridos, en paz, dejando descendencia bien encaminada.

Empezar de “Cero”
Un texto de la Biblia ubicado en el libro de Eclesiastés capítulo 12, versículo 1 señala: “Acuérdate de tu Creador en los días de tu juventud, antes que vengan los días malos, y lleguen los años de los cuales digas: No tengo en ellos contentamiento; antes que se oscurezca el sol, y la luz, y la luna y las estrellas, y vuelvan las nubes tras la lluvia;…”. Esta es una invitación a los jóvenes porque están empezando a vivir, experimentando cosas que en su infancia no habían vivido, comenzarán a preocuparse, les dolerá el rechazo, no serán tan espontáneos, entenderá el dolor ante las pérdidas, en fin tendrán que tomar muchas decisiones ante sentimientos y emociones nuevas buscando el crecimiento e independencia. Esto no excluye a los adultos o ancianos. Nunca es tarde para acordarse de Dios, del Creador. Es mejor hacerlo “antes que lleguen días malos”, días de problemas, de crisis, de abandono, de soledad. Ahora, acordarse no es meramente “pensar” en Dios, es procurar conocerle como la persona real que es, hacerle El Amigo, el mejor y más confiable de los amigos quien a pesar de no verle, siempre está dispuesto a escuchar y ayudar.

Hacia la meta
Toda decisión tiene consecuencias. Si hay la disposición de “acordarse” de Dios desde temprana edad o en las postreras, esto generarán resultados exitosos: tendrás CONTENTAMIENTO, paz, encontrarás propósito en la vida, estarás forjando un legado, una huella para tus seres queridos que te recordaran con “orgullo”, con satisfacción de conocerte, contarán aprendizajes compartidos por el trato contigo. Nunca es tarde. “Acuérdate de tu Creador”… y te aseguro que estarás rumbo a ser una persona realmente exitosa.
