I was afraid again, there in the dark
In that familiar night, a familiar restraint
a familiar fear.
It should be easy by now to fight it, shouldn't it?
This familiar fear?
Not a demon on my chest, or a choking darkness, but a gateway.
Then why does it scare me?
Maybe it's not the demon, but the change?
Something new and unknown, not something shadowy and evil.
Demons are far more dangerous when we cannot name them.
I will try then, to see the name in the dark
The true fear of the unknown, not of Dark, Cold, or Geist.
I will try for number 5 tonight.
