THIS IS REAL...

We all humans want to be strong. We always want to be in control. We tend to show others that we can make it in this world.

But unfortunately, we all have fears too. They may be a result of bad experiences or they may just “pop up” one day and catch us off guard.

The thing is, fears come in all shapes and sizes. You might have a fear of heights or of an animal or bug, but whatever your fears may be, they have ways of pushing you off your tracks.

We all suffer from it to some extent. Fear is written into the human psyche. I would believe, to have no natural sense of fear is perhaps a sickness worse than fear itself. Because it shows a lack of human spirit and selfconcern.

Often times, it's that very tiny voice in the back of the head whispering a cautious warning against danger. This fear is healthy, and even welcome. Like pain, it serves as a warning against self-harm. Sometimes it is this loud, screaming siren that overwhelms the person, drowning out any other thoughts. It is debilitating. It sometimes shut the person down and lead them in ways of giving up.

This is not a physical fear – like this fear you have when a gun is being pointed at you. That fear makes sense. The fear am talking about are those fears that stunt a person’s growth, holding them back from achieving their goals. The fear of failure. Fear of being judged by people. The fear of public speaking. Fear of flying. Fear of heights.

Obstacles to personal achievement are being caused by these irrational phobias. There is a famous humorous adage: Most people become more afraid of public speaking than of dying; they’d rather be the dead person in the coffin than the eulogizer. While this is obviously a joke, it speaks volumes of the senseless fears we grapple with.

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” —Nelson Mandela

I believe fear to be an illusion. sometimes we allow ourselves make up frightening stories about our past and our future and rehearse them until we are terrified. These stories are often about the pain we feel in the past or the fear of our future. We can choose to change this fearful stories we tell ourself. And decide to find safety by learning to live in the present moment. We do have the option to create new stories filled with positive expectations of the future.

I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW THIS

Did you know that, the only difference between you and the successful people you seems to admire is that they are willing to work and move through their fears in order to get where they want to be.

Accept failure as a part of life. Get through it and get over it. Let it go don't hang on seeing yourself looking stupid, feeling embarrassed, being ignored and facing rejection or failure.

BEING COMFORTABLE AROUND YOUR FEARS.

Hello @famouzqueen

Did you know that, the only difference between you and the successful people you seems to admire is that they are willing to work and move through their fears in order to get where they want to be.

This is very true, I can relate very well to what you are talking about. I talked very much about fear as i am facing it now in a particular area of my life.

Sometimes out fear becomes too great that we often let it cripple us, but facing it will always be a contributing factor of how our lives will turn out.

Thanks for sharing this, you inspired me a lot.
